TRINITY CONNECTION
TWO CAMPUSES, ONE CHURCH
Ministry is better together.

THE SHORT VERSION, Trinity UMC started our campus in January 2016 to reach new people for Christ, especially our West Homewood neighbors.

THE LONG VERSION, On June 12th, 1955, a Birmingham-Southern College student named Ron Gonia began a church called Oakmont United Methodist Church with 70 people. It became an exciting, neighborhood church for young families for decades. Yet, as we all know, ministry evolves. Out of a desire to remain faithful to their neighborhood, the people of Oakmont UMC agreed with Trinity UMC to dissolve and restart as Trinity West Homewood in January 2016. We have been growing and changing lives ever since.
AH, MEMORIES
OAKMONT UMC IN YEARS GONE BY
Have a look at a few images from our past. Many men and women, boys and girls... maybe even a few squirrels and dogs found Jesus and the whole and abundant life that flows from that relationship with the Living God. We're so excited about continuing our journey into the future, because we love God and we love people; we just can't wait to see what's in store!
